In the morning, 12/12/2014, Japan Construction Management Corporation and Ebara Vietnam Pump Company Limitted – 100% foreign invested enterprises of Japan organized the Ground Breaking Ceremony to start construction works of Ebara Vietnam Pumps Factory Phase 2 Project, in Lai Cach Industrial Zone, Cam Giang District, Hai Duong Province.
Attending the ceremony, there was Mr. Nguyen Xuan Doan – Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, representatives of the Management Boards of the Provincial Industrial Parks, representatives of the Investor and the Contractors involved in the construction of factories.
Ebara Vietnam Pump Company Limited was established in 1995. In 2011, the company started the construction of the first phase of the plant in Hai Duong province, Vietnam and in 2013, put into operation the foundry. Up to now, Ebara Vietnam Pump Company Limited has started construction of the second phase of the plant. As planned, the project shall be constructed about 12 months and put into operation at the beginning of the first Quarter of 2016. Upon completion, the Ebara Vietnam Ebara Pump Plant will be completed on an area of nearly 3 Hecta – Lai Cach IZ, Cam Giang District. Total investment capital is about US $ 22 million. The production capacity of pumps and pump accessories is expected as at 1,000 tons/ per year, and for casting products, capacity is about 2,200 tons/ per year.
Announcing at the ceremony, Mr. TAKAKA TANAKA, President of Ebara Vietnam Pumps Co., Ltd, confirmed that the company would soon build the plant and put into operation sooner than expected. The new plant will have a more modern production line than the current one and will become the largest pump manufacturing and supplying market in Southeast Asia.
